Physical wellbeing and movement is one of the key pillars to maintaining mental wellbeing

Physical Wellbeing

Exercise and moving regularly can help us to maintain both a physical and mental wellbeing.  Through movement we generate endorphins (the happy hormones) in our bodies which in turn has a positive impact on our mood and outlook on life.  Movement should be something you enjoy doing vs a chore and can be anything from playing a sport eg: football, tennis, hockey, cricket, etc (the list goes on); through to taking the dog for a walk or going to the gym.  If you can manage to be out in the fresh air, so much the better!

Alongside movement, sleep and nutrition also have a very important part to play in ensuring that we main a positive physical wellbeing.

Through our workshops we can support our teams to take a conscious approach to their physical wellbeing.

Mindful Movement

Physical Wellbeing and Mindfulness | The Mind Hub

We are all individual and there isn't a one size fits all approach to managing stress. So often, we take a reactive approach, but prevention is always better than cure! If we do not manage our stress levels it inevitably builds up and can eventually have a negative impact. Managing our 'stress admin' is a great way to pro-actively manage stress levels and essential part of any stress management plan.

In this webinar we will explore:

  • Why a healthy level of stress is good for us.

  • How to listen and work with our stress signals.

  • Stress-busting hacks.

  • Opportunity for Q&A.

This session would be ideal to help your teams to manage their stress levels, enabling them to become more productive in the workplace.

Sleep and the Menopause

Sleep

Despite sleep being an essential requirement for maintaining positive mental and physical health, for many reasons we may not get our full quota, or the best quality of sleep.  Sleep has a major impact on how we: think, feel and behave; how we feel about ourselves and the world around us and so being deprived of sleep can lead us to feel less resilient to meet the challenges of the day.

Delivered by chartered psychologist, neuroscientist and sleep expert, Dr. Lindsay Browning.

During this 60min workshop, you will learn:

  • Why do we need sleep?

  • The economic cost of poor sleep.

  • How much sleep is the right amount.

  • How you can improve your sleep.

  • Good sleep hygiene.

  • Managing sleep and stress.

  • Your sleep questions (Q&A).

In addition, we can send you a sleep questionnaire to send out to employees prior to the talk to capture specific pain points. This enables the session to be specifically tailored to your organisation.

Whilst some women experience only a few symptoms around 80% experience several. What you eat at this time plays a large role in your ability to manage the hormonal changes taking place. My colleagues and I part of the Global Resourcing Team at Vodafone had an amazing session about Mindfulness and Well-being delivered by Tricia.

She is an expert in the topic and a highly skilled coach and trainer. I highly recommend Tricia’s Mindfulness course and programmes. We really appreciated everything we learned and all the supporting tools that she gave us. It was a great experience!
